Emmanuel's Preschool is a ministry of Emmanuel Church whose goal is to provide a Christ-Centered and academic setting for children 3-5 years of age to give them a firm foundation for Kindergarten. We include topics from the Old and New Testament with an emphasis on the fact that we have one God, that Jesus is His son, and that Jesus was sent to be our rescuer. We also place equal importance on giving your child the academic and social/emotional skills needed to help them be successful in Kindergarten. We are a KDHE licensed preschool and adhere to the standards they set..
Admission Policies
Emmanuel Preschool is open to all children regardless of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, physical handicap or sex. Special needs children may be required to provide additional staff at the cost of the parent in compliance with state regulations.
Children must be at least 3 years old prior to attendance and potty-trained. Every child must have a medical examination within 6 months of school starting and updated immunizations records signed and on file prior to attendance.
Children will be accepted upon receipt of required forms and a $25.00 nonrefundable enrollment fee.
Class size is limited to 10 children in each class. Other applications will be placed on a waiting list. Emmanuel Preschool reserves the right to dismiss a child if they are consistently incompatible with other children or for failure to pay timely, monthly tuition.
CLASSES
Class Descriptions
All classes are taught in a way that encourages individual and group activities, structured learning, free play, creativity, imagination, social development, and safety. This is done each day through circle time, small groups, snack time, music and movement, and recreation time.
We will have 2 class options, a Monday, Wednesday, Friday morning class and a Monday-Friday PM class. The MWF morning class will be for children ages 3-5 years of age. The M-F PM class will be only for kids who will be going in to Kindergarten the following year. This class will be more fast paced and would be for children ready for more in-depth learning in regards to social-emotional skills, academics and biblical concepts.
